OVERVIEW
The Giti GSR231 FS is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle’s steer axle.
The tire provides a fuel efficient performance. The heat resistant tire compound and the symmetric ribbed pattern work together to lower the tire’s rolling resistance. The compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area, while the flat footprint’s constant road contact enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure. As a result, the model significantly lowers the rolling resistance, which is the driving pressure affecting it that determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. This allows the tire to increase the vehicle’s fuel efficiency by lowering the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, guaranteeing an environmentally friendly driving experience.
The symmetric tread design with the siping detail manages to improve the tire’s controllability.
